"Has everything I need"
Version: CompuPic Pro 6.23
Summary
This product is fantastic. I have tried ACDSee, Picasa, FotoAlbum, Flipalbum, Dijialbum and a few others and I ended up choosing this one to stick with.
However it is hopeless with videos... only good if you will only use it for organising images. -

Version: CompuPic Pro 6.23
Summary
It is the best, but a little expensive.

"Excellent program"
Version: CompuPic Pro 6.23
Summary
I think this program was very well made. The stability is really good. I don't know what the other person did, but it never hung on me and none of my pictures were lost. I think that guy had a POS computer.

"Excellent functionallity, stability sucks"
Version: CompuPic Pro 6.23
Summary
I used this product on a Windows 2000 PC. Every session Compupic "pro" was hanging and the last picture was lost; I had to re-install it 3 times. Finally I removed it from mu PC. Fantastic functionality, excellent user interface, but get this product stable!

"high quality, stable and powerful"
Version: CompuPic Pro 6.23
Summary
After using Acdsee 3.1 Powerpack for quite some time I began to dislike it. It is prone to crashes, clunky, and unable to handle large amounts of files. Reading user comments on Acdsee 5.0 scared me away from upgrading. I then tried CompuPic Pro 6, very nice! It creates thumbnails VERY quickly and loads them instantly. It has a great file browser which highlites which directories have been indexed and when you hover over a folder it gives info such as # of files and size in megabytes. The user interface is easy and precise and the program is fast and stable. The only thing I don't like is that I seem unable to drag and drop picture files directly from CompuPic to other programs such as ICQ or Outlook. I may be missing something but I swear I checked the configuration options carefully. I can overlook this with the quality of the program. Highly recommended for anyone tired of Acdsee. ;)
