"Crashes - waste of time"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
none - could not use it
Cons
Crashes when you try to select HD for partitioning/formatting. Tried on 3 PCs (XP sp2) with no luck.

"Waste of time."
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Cons
Crashes all the time.

"FOR EXTERNAL DISKS ONLY"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
Runs from Windows, so you can't use it to partition the drive you're running from...must be used on external disks. Therefore, it was of no use to me. Needs a way to create a bootable CD and run from Linux or something.
In other words: If your PC is down because you're installing a new hard disk, you can't use this product. Go with Partition Logic instead.

"Pretty Useless for my XP"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
nowt...
Cons
Keeps telling me I have an operating system on the drive - there isn't - I would of remembered!!!
Seems to like crashing a lot though...
As a result it's pretty useless...

"Does not work for XP"

"Works where no others would, simple and reliable."
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
Worked every time on drives that no other program would recognize. Used it on thumb drives, usb enclosures, firewire enclosures. Format 32 for use in linux, windows and mac - everything was great, and it's super, super fast. Love, Love, Love.
Cons
None that I can think of.

"Crashes every time"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
Interface is simple, but gets the job done.
Cons
Wanted this for an external USB drive -- program crashes every time I try to access that drive. I got it to pull up the drive info once, then it crashed as soon as I selected the Format option.

"The only product I found to work for me... after trying 4 others"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
I had a Maxtor hard drive formatted for a Mac. I switched from Mac to PC and could not get my 250GB hard drive to be recognized on my PC. This product worked on the first try. Extremely easy to use.
I had tried some others from download.com, only to find out that they would not format my hard drive. I am truely thankful that my hard drive is no longer a really expensive paperweight.
Cons
none

"Can't open it! Crashes!..related to "partutil.dll" file"
Version: CompuApps SwissKnife V3 3.22
Pros
Can't write any pros if I can't open the damn thing!
Cons
I spent a lot of time installing and unistalling the app. Each time I tried to run it (Win XP PRO SP2)I got a Windows error "encountered a problem and needs to close" etc. The file that appears to be the problem is "partutil.dll", but I don't know the exact nature of it. Couldn't find anything on the web about it, although someone else mentioned this file was a problem when incorporating Swissknife into some script they were writing. I can't waste any more time on it.
