"Didn't work on XP"
Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Cons
I tried to open files and the program kept asking for a password even though my files aren't protected by password. Couldn't even try it. Wouldn't pay a cent for it.

"Makes a good ashtray"
Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Pros
Only took 20 minutes to get rid of
Cons
I have a plain vanilla XP installation. This thing failed on first attempt, and locked up the whole opsys on second. What exactly the CNET editor was thinking I don't know.

"Keeps crashing!"
Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Pros
The User Interface looks nice but as described in the Cons I never actually got to compare PDF Files!
Cons
The program keeps crashing when I try to load a single PDF File! The first one I tried had about 300 pages so I thought okay ... maybe that's too big. The next one I tried had only 12 pages but several figures. This time it crashed as well after it took a long time to process or whatever it was doing. I was too frustrated to try a single page text-only PDF.
