"This game rocks!"
Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros
I bought the full game and still am amazed at it. the fx rock. the terrain is totally destructable. the units find their own cover. living soldiers is a awesome feature. i would definately recommend this game to anyone.
Cons
Have to have a very high end machine ( Windows XP-2.0GHz Intel Pentium IV or equivelent or AMD Athlon XP or equivalent-512 MB RAM- Direct X 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card-DVD-ROM Drive+keyboard and mouse.
6.5 GB of uncompressed free hard drive space (we recommend having 1 gigabyte of free space after installation)) <- copied off the gamebox.
Had to buy new graphics card and motherboard and DVD-ROM driver to play this game but it was well worth the money spent.

"Best RTS ever made!"
Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros
After playing the good long demo with free skirmishes, I was convinced that this was the best rts ever made, and i stand corrected after buying the game and playing it for around 3 months now. This isnt make a ton of units and send them in to all die. You can have twice, even 3 times more guys than the your opponent, but lose if you just send them all in, and your opponent uses some good flanking and micro technques. Well im just saying, as i played age of empires 3, warcraft 3, starcraft...this is the best rts ever!
Cons
Thy sometimes swear, and swearing is bad!!

"Great WWII RTS"
Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros
Graphics are great and it's strategy not shooter WWII game.
Cons
Graphics were too much for my GeForce FX 5200 128 mg card, even with everything turned down to minimum. Very slow and choppy but I saw enough to realize that this is one good game.

"Close Combat meets Age of Empires"
Version: Company of Heroes single-player demo
Pros
Close Combat (Microsoft) meets Age of Empires. This is what Close Combat should have evolved to before they pulled the plug on it. Very nicely done.
Cons
Huge 1.8 gig demo. Part of the reason for that is the long in game cut-scenes, which I haven't figured out how to skip.
Would have liked a gameplay more like Close Combat than Age of Empires, where you collect resources, etc. No set battles, you have to wait for resources, build troops/armor. Would have liked set battles, where you and your opponent have given set troops and fight it out, as was in Close Combat.
