i really like the idea of comodo system cleaner. it works much like pc system tools i think its called ? it seemed to have everything you want or need in a registry and cleaner optimizer. it may in fact work very well on your computer. FREE with allot of extra options

IT needs to tell you more in detail what all the options do and what they remove. IT REMOVED all my passwords and my system started to freez up and comodo cleaner was using 90% of my pc cpu. COMODO should have boxes that you can check in that say safe or will not remove or JUST have it so you can set it on a SAFE MODE that will not allow any alterations !! keep in mind other programs have caused my system to freez up , so it is not all on comodo.I DO NOT LIKE programs like this that takes too much knowledge and trying to figure out what to do.

I USE COMODO REGISTRY CLEANER , (THE ORIGINAL) VERSION AND I RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU CAN STILL FIND IT. i like it CAUSE its plain and simple and easy to use. i can Not recommend comodo system cleaner at this time. maybe unti lthey keep the bugs out and make it EASIER AND SAFER TO USE. THATS WHY I ALSO USE (ADVANCED SYSTEM CARE 5) on my computer. never HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THAT !

I have been using ccleaner for many years and found some dissatisfactory , then I switched to Comodo system cleaner which was fantastic

My cpus were running at 80% and turns out it is a comodo program which cannot be turned off or changed in settings. I don't know about you, but I am real tired of programs installing services and background programs I do not want. They all think they are the only app on the box. I un-installed it and am happy with TweakNow reg cleaner, thanks.

Pros
Comodo cleans more junk from your computer than any other program I have used. Because it is so thorough, it is necessary to be ultra cautious about exactly what you want to have cleaned unless you want to spend time doing a System Restore.
Cons
This is so thorough that I would not recommend using it as a daily utility.
Summary
I believe that, unless you feel the need to clean your computer frequently, Comodo will do the job for you like no other program...and it's free to boot.

The program gives the user options on how "much" drilling down they want to accomplish. This feature allows for a truly quick check and update.
Cons
The interface displays "NOT CLEAN" after selecting "CLEAN". The "CLEAN" mode only identifies, it does not perform the corrections and/or deletions.
Summary
Good program; however better interface and instructions are necessary.

Decent cleaner to have in the arsenal. Auto-cleaner is kind of OK.
Cons
When Skynet takes over, this program will save mankind (but hopefully not before they make the Summer Glau model Terminator). Wield with extreme caution. Probably wouldn't be missed in the meantime, however. CCleaner, WinUtilies, and Index.dat Analyzer are all you really need as far as general file and registry cleaners go. (And Yes, there is a 64 bit version of Index.dat Analyzer, but not here on C-Net). And did Abexo forget to pay their electric bill? I don't think it's here either anymore, but that one has saved the day in a few emergencies (but it's another registry obliterater to be wielded cautiously).
Summary
Don't do anything beyond the defaults, unless you want to watch your computer make that noise Pac-man did after that red ghost(Blinky?), got him. Game over.

I can't really rate this program as I don't know enough about security and registry. It aggregates Registry, Privacy, and Disk Cleaners, with separate controls for each. It was easy to use. It didn't break anything. except a couple of auto logins in the browser.
Cons
I was astounded to realize - its disk cleaner will remove duplicates of music and photos from the machine. No thank you!!! What if it chose to remove the song from my library, and leave it on my Sansa player? Possible major mess!
