  "Woud not download, or open even with Geek Buddy help!!!"

  Version: Comodo Internet Security (64-bit) 5.0.163562.1142

  Pros

  The old version was superb, but I have now had to move my Windows 7 64 bit laptop to another provider.

  Cons

  The program refused to download, and the the Geek Buddies tried to both download it and set it up. They were not successful, and managed to wipe out my connection to my router, which I had to set up again. At this point, I gave up in disgust and used another provider. This is a sham, because up until this happening, I have been very pleased with both the product and the service.

  and best firewall
  anti-virus has a good detection ration

  scaning speed
  quite many popups some times

  "Maximum protection mode makes my pc unstable."

  Free and free.

  Cons

  Installation-process' from dvd-drive can not perform correctly (the sandbox screws with the progress) and files created becomes corrupted.
  After install, several blue screen of deaths.
  No way controlling which apps are connected to the net.

  It's a very light on CPU resources and it's free.

  Cons

  none that I notice

  Summary

  Even though I'm not a pro at this. it is very good and perfect for people with older computers. My current version for CIS is 5.3.181415.1237

  "(re)Install failes"

  It was a good package, but don;t ever uninstall it

  Cons

  Can never ever ever uninstall it and expect to be able to reinstall it.

  Summary

  Reading through the forums, even on commodo's own site there has been a serious bug in this software. If you ever uninstall it, you can never again reinstall it. Abd yes I did all the reboots, and even tried comodo's own system cleaner, and it still fails.
  Look on Comodo's own forum, this problem has existed since version 3 and they have done nothing.
  If they can't even cleanly uninstall their own product, can you trust it to look after other people products.

  "Works great"

  Mostly works silently in the background

  Cons

  No cons as far as I am concerned.

  Summary

  It does work great. Be sure to disable the Windows firewall to minimize cpu load.

  I am in heaven! I finally have a GOOD Firewall.

  Cons

  Downloading the entire package can be annoying and very intrusive.

  Absolutely the best app ever, well at least one of the best.
