Pros: Free
Cons: I found this product unacceptably intrusive. It did not "just work in the background"; it continually was blocking sites that I have been using for years, constantly was flashing warnings or requests for permission. It reminded me too much of Computer Associates "Internet Security Suite". I fretted with "Comode" for about a month then uninstalled it.

"Very Annoying, It Does Not Simply Run In The Background"
Cons: After I installed it I kept getting a lot of popups to grant permission for applications and when I check remember my answer I get another popup for the same application and the worse thing of all is after I installed it I could not connect to the Internet and when I tried to fix it, it still didn't work, I finally had enough and got rid of this program.

Pros: Version 3.0.19.318 (released 14th of March)
* FIXED! Bugs in D+ affecting CFP's ability to handle some events properly
* FIXED! CFP freezes the computer in certain cases of network traffic
* FIXED! CFP GUI slows down when some other software is installed
* FIXED! CFP GUI fails to start when resource extraction fails
* IMPROVED! The default configuration has been updated to protect more resources
Version 3.0.20.320 (released 17th of March)
FIXED! Slow network performance under certain circumstance
V 3.0.20.30 fixes network problems that were in 3.0.19.318. If you have 3.0.19.318 installed on your machine, you will be prompted to update, Click next, and reboot.. Network issues should be over.
By the way... GREAT FIREWALL FOR YOUR XP/VISTA machine! Defense+ rocks! :-)

"I'm Buying the Guys at Comodo a Beer Sometime"
Pros: I'm going to hold my breath and refer you to the credible firewall testers at Masoutec: matousec.com/projects/firewall-challenge/results.php
They give a much broader overview than I can - the results don't lie.
Cons: Not for anyone who is accustomed to the 'ignorance is bliss' style firewall like the Windows stock. I wouldn't change a thing about it, but others find it too 'in your face'.
