"Great.. Just one thing wrong"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
Great, user friendly.. im 13 and i got it because my brother does god knows what and we were getting viruses.. when i downloaded this software it all stopped!!!
Cons
The only thing i had wrong was that i have XP SP2 and 512 ram and this product slowed my computer down major! so when i got rid of it it sped up.. i would have kept it if i had more ram so make sure you have alot of ram!!

"Was great at first"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
Love the interface, easy to install, seems to be straight forward (even for an average user), love the fact that it learns your moves, so it limited the pop-up question. If you're installing something, you can easily switch to install mode to limit the pop-ups.
Cons
KILLED MY INTERNET CONNECTION, TWICE. "Primary DNR server" something-or-other. Uninstalled thinking I goofed something and it did it again. Also, the Network protection thing (the first box on the main screen) would never respond even when the internet worked. Also, one last thing, and it might not be Comodos fault, but even after install, Vista still says that Comodo is up and running. WHAT?????????

"Caused my commutter to change it's settings. Not for me."
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Cons
It didn't do as the CNET reviewer said it would on my computer. It just didn't work for me.

"Bloo Screen Hell"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
It's a great FW but it bloo screened my comp. (XP SP3) several times a day.
I've never once had that happen on my comp. before I installed it.
I narrowed all the possibilities down to Comodo and when I uninstalled it, the bloo screen problem went away. Coincidence?
Who knows. I'm just reporting the facts.
The bummer is that it's otherwise a really good FW app.

"Most Excellent software"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
Very simple to install and use. Doesn't seem to suck up all of the resources of my laptop.
Cons
Nothing bad to report.
-
"I gave up on it."
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Cons
Sat for over a half hour clicking and clicking and clicking and finally decided to try a different firewall. I had no idea how long this was going to take to set up, and I see from some of the other comments that you just have to keep clicking even after the program is set up. Just not for me.

"tirersome"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
Great firewall protection. Lets you know what it is doing all the time.
Cons
Lets you know too many times on what it is doing.

"Bloatware"
Version: Comodo Firewall Pro 3
Pros
It's pretty and it's free. Didn't get to use it long enough to rate it as a firewall.
Cons
When I installed this my computer's performance dropped off dramatically. Whenever Comodo was running there would be an instance of svchost using about 70% of my processor capacity and it never seemed to settle down. It also didn't seem to learn to allow common apps and I couldn't stop it from blocking all packets between my Xbox 360 and the PC.
I figured the firewall was just learning and would improve once it had adapted to the system, but after a week of no improvement I pulled the plug. A curse on Symantec for buying Sygate!
