Command Line SMTP is a Windows command line SMTP client enabling quick & simple communication with an SMTP server from the command line.
Command Line SMTP can be called directly from the command prompt or from within a batch file allowing multiple separate emails to be sent easily.
Only one line of switches is required so configuration is fast & simple.
Command Line SMTP supports both inline body (i.e. the body text is passed as a parameter) or the body can be set in a separate text (or HTML) file & the file path passed as a parameter instead.
Command Line SMTP is perfect for sending scripted alerts or reports from automated scheduled tasks from within a batch file running on a server.
Both plain text & HTML emails are supported; also multiple file attachments can be sent with each email.
Authentication using SSL/TLS & also NTLM is supported so there should be no mailserver configuration which cannot be used with Command Line SMTP.
Command Line SMTP can be used in a personal or corporate environment & run on client or server hardware with no restrictions on use.
