Version: Comic Book Creator Standard 1.2.29
"Fun for kids, IF the parents can get it to work."
Pros: The editing portion of the software is fine. Load template, add backgrounds, clip art, word balloons, and you have a comic book. There's a very nice system of vector graphic word balloons. Some very nice comic book fonts are included.
Cons: The templates are somewhat restrictive, and they're about an inch too big when compared to 'real' comic books. Only spoken word balloons have vector graphics, all others are clip art which can look strange when resized. The point where the program falls down flat is when you want to save the book in a redistributable format. The program will not recognize the PDF writer it comes bundled with, you'll need to print it to a different PDF writer. The program also offers JPEG, HTML and other useful formats, but it cannot save to them either. Not recommended for anyone looking for a professional tool, or anyone easily frustrated by software installation hassle.

hi, i made a comic but need to save it as a PDF. you said that it won't recognize the one it comes with, it didn't recognize it when i downloaded it. can you please tell me where you got a compatable PDF writer from?
