Version: Collectorz.com Music Collector 8.6.1
"CDs ONLY; No MP3/FLAC/AAC/etc Files"
Pros: Nice intuitive interface, no steep learning curve
Cons: It only works with cds. No FLAC/mp3/AAC. I'm sorry, but in 2009 having a music cataloging program that cannot handle music files is like having a program that is only distributed on 1.44" floppies: bloody useless for today's world.
Summary: For some reason, collectorz has two mutually exclusive programs for cataloguing music: mp3 colletor ($40) and music collector ($40). Now maybe some people want to keep their cds and music files separate, but I think most people just want one library... read more
