"Worthless, Doesn't work"
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 8.3
Pros
Looks good
EasyCons
5 out of 10 times doesn't work. And you will never know who filled up the form.
Summary
I have bought more than 10 softwares of this company. It lloked attractive but now nothing works. For this form builder I can't do much as it is flash. Doesn't come on apple phones and ipad. But above all it is crazy software. 50% of the forms that are filled up only do not arrive and so i loose my sales. I tried to get help. The person asked $15 everytime help. He offered first time free help but when I asked the questions, never responded. This it is ripping off compnay. Very disappointed.

"worked right "out of the box""
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 8.3
Pros
Simple and has all the little gadgets I needed: drop down menus, captcha, send email to me, to a file or to a sql database. Unlimited forms to unlimited websites unless I miss it somewhere.
Cons
Kind of pricey for what seems to be a basic program but better than paying a subscription service a monthly fee. And I haven't seen one out there for less. The captcha is really basic and I'm kind of wondering if the spam bots can actually read it.
Summary
I spent days looking for a captcha program for my MS 2003 frontpage website and couldn't find a good match, so I tried coffee cup's trial version and wow worked the first time. The only thing that didn't work right away was having the email show up in my hotmail account. I figured out that you must feel out the subject line and so hotmail's filters don't kill it before it even arrives at my 'doorstep.' Try the trial version and you'll know if it's right for you or not.

"This is useless as it will not print out"
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 8.2
Pros
Easy to set up
Cons
Print function does not work properly.
Summary
Is rendered useless if you want to print the form as it prints out tiny with weird numbers which limit the size of print. This is the same on all systems I tried it on.
The support abandoned my pleas for help and refused refund...in fact they were really unhelpful AVOID if you need form print outs..most people do. -
"Builds effective forms to embed in a web page"
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 8.2
Pros
Forms are relatively easy to build, have good features, do what you want them to do.
Cons
Process of embedding in a web page and uploading to server is multistep. If you only do a form once in a while, or update it once in a while, it can get complicated and I may omit a file or step.
Summary
Better for people who do lots of forms, a bit complicated if you only do one or two.

"New version 8 does it all and with great templates"
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 7.91
Pros
Allows the ability to set up multiple choices for sendto and it is easy to use database features. The captcha feature is a big plus and keeps those terrible spammers away. Nice templates and the ability to tweak the designs.
Cons
So far as a web developer I have not seen anything that is restrictive as long as you have a server that accepts PHP and MySql. Does not produce anything for Cold Fusion but they have there own wizards.
Summary
I just love this software. I was tired of trying to find a total package that provided all the features I was looking for including captcha and good design. I also had some needs that would allow users to choose who they wanted to the send the form to and that was also available after contacting your great support and getting a quick answer on how to make it happen. I build web sites and love how much time I can save by not having to build all of the code by hand. The templates are nice and can give you a base to start tweaking to make the look exactly like your site. I did a form for a Police Association as was able to place their badge right on the form...very cool.

"Can't save your work with Free Trial"
Version: CoffeeCup Web Form Builder 7.91
Pros
Great for building forms for your website
Cons
Can't save your work. If you can't save work with Free Trial, Can you save your work with the registered version?
Summary
If I knew the purchased product worked properly I would buy it, as is I can't save anything and it is supposed to save your projects in XML format.. Not happening!!
