"Who said this was a bad program?"
Version: CoffeeCup Free FTP 3
Summary
But then, I am soooo computer literate (17 years experience) it did NOT take me more than 3 minutes to figure out how to use it WITHOUT the help manual.
I would say though that even a non literate could figure this one out very easily! DL.com gives it a 4 out of 5 and so do I. Easy to use, easy to configure. Works fine on my PCs running 98, ME, 2k, and XP. Only drawback, the 'cool' button which really means 'OK'. -
"More difficult than previous versions"

Summary
Previous versions connected with no problem. Couldn't get current version to connect to AOL and the Help files didn't help. Moving on.

"Older versions of CoffeeCup Were Better"
Version: CoffeeCup Free FTP 3
Summary
The pop-ups were confusing. The first pop-up you get has a button to start the product, but it was small and not very noticable. It worked fine for the first 30 minutes or so and it was easy to use, but after that, it kept freezing everytime I tried to upload files to my server. I used to use CoffeeCup two years ago and was pleased with it, so I thought I could use it again for restarting my website. I was wrong.

"EXCELLENT!"
Version: CoffeeCup Free FTP 3
Summary
Browsing around for ad/spyware programs I came across w/CNET. Glanced at your CCF_FTP but I have Adobe 6 which suits me fine. Merely copied y/adware gloss. Received e-mail asking msg step for registration. Tried four times to no avail as CNET NEVER RECOGNIZED MY PASSWORD, so, dropped. Warned not to answer this message, I'm nevertheless on it. You surely know who you sent e-mails to. Record's sake, I am Roberto Morales and my address is quote kromoram@terra.com.mx unquote (was your membership@download.com team unaware?). Answering this channel because it popped up when entered.
Best regards. Any word? -
"One Launch and I'm Done"
Version: CoffeeCup Free FTP 3
Summary
1) start-up screen splits across my dual monitor set-up
2) splash screen has some dufus "sign up and win" (something, whatever) pitch -- can't read it really and I can't seem to click on anything that will make the program run
3) dumps a "web tools" icon on my desktop
Definitely *not* my cup of coffee.
