"I can't use your product, because on all pages if doesn't once say HOW"
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
Can't use it, can't find out HOW from your web-site, no phone # to call. How do I like it so far, not so good, maybe if I could find out how to use it, I might like it.
Cons

"Best FREE FTP available."
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
Unlike some other FTP apps this one does not require that you have a degree from MIT to configure and use.
Very eye pleasing interface and simple to navigate. If you are just beginning to experiment with file transfers, then I would highly suggest you try this one first.
WS_FTP Pro is my other choice but is not free.
Cons
The free version blasts you with a "nag" screen every time you exit the program wanting you to buy other products from them (web hosting) etc.
Other than that NA-DA !!

"Upload, download and edit on the fly."
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
CoffeeCup Direct FTP is a very good little programme that is very easy to use. Once you have installed it and entered the details of your host server, you can upload or download your files without any hassle. You can even preview and edit a file that's on your server.

"Dangerously bugged"
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
Great interface, simple to use.
Cons
While upload seems to work fine, downloading HTML text files from a server sent me blank files withoug anything in them. It's lucky I noticed before I nearly wiped out both the online and offline copies of a Web site I manage. I recommend avoiding this program until they fix this serious problem.

"Awesome software for uploading files and then edit on the fly"
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
What I really like about this software is how fast I can set up a connection with it then upload files. The best though is being able to open a file and edit it through the ftp program. It makes it great for quick fixes.
Cons
There is nothing bad to say about this application.

"Easy install, easy upload & download, Easy Edit"
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Pros
CoffeeCup Direct FTP is a very easy to use program for uploading your finished pages to the web. The program starts with the installation of the server(s) you're going to use. The explanation how to do this is simple and direct, no misunderstanding possible.
Once connected the screen presents your local directories and the directory of your web hosting company. With simple clicks you can make the windows pointing to the same set of files. Selecting a file or multiple files for uploading is easy with the CTRL-button and UPLOAD. Also downloading the files back to local disk can be done in the same easy way.
Excellent is the possibility to EDIT an uploaded file, make the change and upload again. Very comfortable for small corrections (don't forget to do the same correction on the local file to avoid the same error occuring over and over again)
The screen can be view in three different modes: FTP only, FTP and Edit mode, Edit mode only.
The easy use makes this program highly recommendable.

"This product creates a feedback loop if a file uploaded is previewed in browser"
Version: CoffeeCup Direct FTP 6.2
Cons
This product creates a feedback loop if a file uploaded is previewed in browser. It shuts down the system, and causes a major crash. FTP shell client is better, but I have not used it enough to see if there are any bugs. Neverthless, after a dozen uses, there are no problems, and I can preview in a browser if connected.
