• Regularly stops working but pretends it's still working

  Pros

  Does a great job _when_ it works. Paid version is very versatile.

  Cons

  Stops working when you're not looking. This should be a "set it and forget it" program that continues working in the background. However, the paid version will quietly "deactivate" in the background. It still sits there with the icon looking like it is working but it is no longer doing its job. Autosync is turned off and the folders you want to sync are no longer syncing. What causes it to do this? Possibly something as innocuous as plugging in an external modem (activation is tied to the ID of your HDD and your MAC address). I have taken this up with customer support but all we got to was "I will forward this issue to our developers for consideration."

  Summary

  It would be good if it didn't stop working while claiming that it was still working.

• Easy to use, fast and not resource-demanding.

  Pros

  I liked the way program is deployed - the installation was fast and configuration easy. Once the relation was set it synced my calendars and tasks in no time. Even my weak WiFi connection was sufficient to quicly push/pull all the data.

  Cons

  For me the program works flawlessly. The only thing that might be missing is a duplicate detection feature. When I tried to sync my inbox folders it duplicated all messages. However this was my fault - both outlooks are connected to the same account via POP3 so they were already were in "sync" and my main need was to sync cals and tasks.

  Summary

  CodeTwo did a good piece of software - it is light on resources and transfers, sync in a blink of an eye and even backs up items deleted on one machine when they were deleted on the other. Good program, worth recommending.

• It has the Good and the Bad

  Pros

  Works slick in syncing Outlook files. Perhaps the best I have tried to-date. Runs in the background automatically and responds quickly. A little pricy compared to other sync packages.

  Cons

  I have encounted a problem with it syncing mail! Everything else works in sync, but mail refuses to sync, rather it just duplicates. The Free Trial version doesn't sync mail so there is no way to test it. When I called on them after the purchase, they said there is no support since I didn't pay another $29.00 for support. Dosen't this look like a rip-off?

  Summary

  Overall, I liked the functionality but tottaly dislike their attitude and support. They were going to argue this with the credit card company saying I was not entitled to a refund even though it doesn't work, since I refused the added costly support option when initially purchasing! How's that for for professionalism!

• Perfect to backup Outlook data!

  Pros

  I really needed to backup my contacts to my laptop and this program works very well so far.

  Cons

  Firstly I was a little bit afraid if it would work for for Outlook 2007 sharing contacts with Outlook 2010, but had no issues with it. And was positively surprised with the installation process, didn't expect it would be so easy to do ;]

  Summary

  Generally I'm happy with the program and glad it's for free!

  Other online reviews looked promising.

  Cons

  I cannot get the software to install correctly on two different computers after purchasing a license. Always the same error: "The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3) Failed to save data to file..."

  Summary

  Theoretically the perfect solution for me (desktop and notebook). Customer service does reply but this is taking a lot of time.

• Very useful tool!

  Pros

  i've been using it for 2 weeks and it's just great. I can sync all Outlook files kept on my laptop with my desktop PC, so when I get back from work I can access my documents from the home computer. It's very convenient.

  Cons

  It's a fantastic tool - simple, efficient and cheaper than the competition.

  Summary

  I recommend it for all Outlook users
