Pros: Cloudmark, is very easy to install, creating a toolbar in your Outlook with a minimum of fuss. Their version of real time coverage of spam, malware, etc., is a very large group (community) of users, whose actions and reactions to spam, malware,etc. are what tells the software what to block.
Cons: I tested this software at an email testing site anyone can use (wwwgficom) Cloudmark failed every email test. In all fairmess, I emailed the Cloudmark folks and they checked this out for themselves. They got back to me and agreed that the software duplicated my results (100% failure).
Their explanation was that these email malware, viruses, etc. were not what their community of users were seeing or reacting to. But, if they were, the customer representative felt sure that they could stop them.
That did not make me feel better. 100% failure is still that. When there is a zero day activity this would not be the software I would want to bet my computer or network on. I went with another vendor.

Pros: Before SafetyNet I had up to 100 spam items in my mailbox every morning, 300 on Mondays, and 1,000+ after a vacation.
Now I just leave Outlook running, and I start my days reading my mail instead of cleaning my mailbox.
SafetyBar users always stay ahead of spammers, due to the unique system of fingerprinting spam before it reaches our mailboxes.
Cons: After using SafetyBar (previously SpamNet) for several years, I really haven't any cons.
