"This program is a long time winner....simply THE BEST!"
Pros: I write this review as someone who has happily used ClipMate for many years, finding it to be one of the most used and useful pieces of software on my computer
1) ClipMate has a capacity to store an enormus number of clips....thousands upon thousands!
2) Clips can be organized in easily accessed folders.
3) There are several ways to paste.
4) It has a clipboard editor that is handy and easy to use.
5) The presently entered clip can be made visible from the taskbar.
6) ClipMate can capture images in a number of ways.
7) It's easy to gain access and set performance options.
8) Clips can be easily moved to various different folders by drag and drop.
9) It's easy to save the program settings .... you can program Clipmate to update settings at a set time.
These are but a few of the numerous features available in this program. I could go on and on extolling the virtues of ClipMate but there is no greater compliment then to say that when I have to reformat my computer Clipmate is one of the first programs I reinstall. Thornsoft, the manufacturer, continually updates this long time software award winner. Simply put, it's fantastic. Once you get the feel of ClipMate you will NEVER want to be without it.
Cons: Clipmate, by virtue of the fact that it has such a rich feature set, has a steeper learning curve than some of the other more elementary clipboard extender programs, but with a little work you will soon be the master of one of the most usefull software utilities available.

Version: ClipMate 7.0.6 build 126
"Unquestionably the state of the art clip manager."
Pros: Feature-rich application tightly focused on gathering, storing, organizing, manipulating, and pasting clippings in any format. Unquestionably the most powerful of its breed; highly reliable; well-supported.
Cons: ClipMate could be overkill for some. For those wanting a simpler, more intuitive product, I recommend ClipCache, a polished, fast and light, ClipMate clone.
