Version: ClearView RC Flight Simulator 4.98H
Pros: Graphic are good but demanding of your computer. Expect video issues that need to be worked out.
Cons: Flight controls lack sophistication. It is much too easy to fly. If you are looking for a serious RC Simulator, then this is NOT what you want.
You still need a buy a controller. While it emulates a collective pitch, you do not have the control of a real RC helicopter. (i.e. it really only has 4 channels)
This "game" is overpriced for what it provides.
The DEMO is almost completely ineffective. By the time you get it up and running, the DEMO period of a "generous" 15 minutes is over.
While it may have potential, it is several generations away from being a serious RC simulator. If you want a cheap simulator, FMS is free and while the graphics are not as good, the flight controls/characteristics are much more realistic.

Pros: - Some of the scenery is decent
Cons: - Flight characteristics are not realistic. MUCH too easy to fly.
- Advanced graphics result in less than optimum performance.
- DEMO is too limited and too short. By the time you get it working, the DEMO period is up.
- Requires hardware (i.e. you still need a controller)
- Crash simulations are unrealistic (actually, just plain dumb)
- Activation requires new code for each installation and you have to prove you deactivated the previous installation to get a new code.
- Whle the prgrammer is obviously talented, the program falls WAY short of being considered a serious RC simulator.
- I suggest they issue a beta version and get input from users on how they can improve and fix the program before they start charging.
Bottom line, if you want a serious RC simulator, spend the money and get a good one. Or...FMS is free and significantly more sophisticated (granted, the graphics are not as good). I would rather have more realistic performance than more realistic graphics. Save your money.

"Warning: mastering the game can be adictive !"
Pros: Fluid controls, awesome models, super real environment. This one is a very chalenging game. I did not know that rc helis are so much fun. Must try for sure.
Cons: Big dounload size, but was worthed.

Cons: buggy software, trial is too crippled. By the time you get your controller set up and trims configured, the trial is up. Crashes are realistic ... if you have a rubber airplane. People who thought this was an excellent simulator have never used a real RC sim. If they would spend as much time with the model dynamics as they did with the scenery, it might be worth $30.

"If you fly RC models, this is the program to download."
Pros: This is the only quality RC flight simulator that does not require proprietary controller. I learned to fly rc helicopters with ClearView. Adding plane simulation makes this great program even better. The program is easy to install and run. I get 135 fps on my dell 8600 notebook and the image quality is very good.
Cons: None.
