This software site is a total scam. SHAME ON CNET for having it on their website as though it is real software which solves real problems.

All the good reviews here are phony! Check the user reviews of other software to discover they review other products by the same company. All I can say about cleanmypc is RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!!!

This piece of rubbish is exactly why TV advertised programs should be banned. Not only does it not do it's job properly it tries to make itself look better by reporting false positives.
EDIT:
Also it removes registry entries which are needed for things such as HP printer drivers!!
In addition to these flaws if you refuse to pay their registration cost it will only scan and report but not as promised fix anything. Their 15 day trial is a scam too as what's the use of knowing if you had errors if it won't remove them.
Please people avoid this piece of S**T and spend you hard earned cash on one of the genuine cleaners out there.

in over 2 years it only made 1 mistake and that was easily fixed using it's own restore points. I also like that it has a Registry defrag build in. Works with XO Vista and Win7 32 and 64bit Plus i like it's Price LOL

Have to manually check for updates.

As I said i love it. Has all the features I need and they all work well. Best Software regardless of Price. And one can't complain about that eider. Well done CleanMyPc.

Fast. Checks for registry problems but only those that can cause immediate problems. Has an option to scan for invalid paths for advanced use. Tool for compacting the registry. Has performed as advertised. Would recommend the lifetime subscription.

None that I've found in the two plus years of using it.
Summary
The software has a nice clean easy to understand interface. It worked with Vista and is the main reason I purchased it as I was using Registry Mechanic but their software was not completely compatible with Vista. CleanMyPC allows easy access to system tools in addition to backup/restore registry and defrag registry. I use this software on a daily basis and never have any problems with my PC. The check registry function only checks for the most common problems. There is an option to check file and path references for advanced users.

It found what was clogging my computer and fixed it. It took out invalid registry values and completely uninstalled a program that had been partially left behind from a previous uninstall. I like how can selectively scan your registry for files.
Cons
None so far. Maybe product support but I haven't had a need to call them.

Fixing registry problems, clearing 'engraved' history, Clear startup organizer and a user friendly interface.

It misses some parts of the registry in its scan along with some of the start up.
Summary
CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner is probably one of the best registry cleaners I've ever used. It has a very user friendly interface, and a one time low price of $30 US.
It detects invalid registry paths with cause some applications to run slow or not work at all with a 'one click' solution.
This software vastly increased the performances of my computers on various OS's.
It's hard to find a registry cleaner that actually works, and for a low price of $30, it's well worth every penny.
