(1) Relatively easy setup menus;
(2) Allows for "paperless" sending and receiving faxes;
(3) Distinctive ring capabilities allows one phone line to be used for voice and fax; and
(4) Came free with purchase of US Robotics modem.Cons
I have yet to determine how to make the software start in "Manual Answer" mode. (required for distinctive ring to work automatically. If I reboot and forget to set the software in "Manual Answer" mode, the modem picks up any call after 4 rings.
Summary
Nice fax software that allows for "paperless" faxing. I use it with a US Robotics external modem that has distinctive ring capabilities. Thus, via BellSouth, I have one phone line with three different phone numbers. So I can use the same line for voice and fax using distinctive ring. Fairly easy to setup but has some tricky setup requirements for distinctive ring configurations (requiring a little experimentation or perhaps reading the manual).

after download you can not use it. need serial numbers to complete application. Where do you get the serial numbers. it is not easy. so this is not friendly. it should be easier. fit it.
