    "Good Mac and windows virus protection, free"

    Pros

    Protects both Mac and windows viruses.
    Easy to install and configure.
    Can schedule virus updates and scans.
    It's free

    Cons

    Would like to see status icon vs app in doc.
    Does not check iPhone or iPad for viruses, although only software I'm aware of that does that is Intego, which is very good but not free.

    Summary

    Free and functional Mac and Windows virus protection.
