Not closed to the real world as there is Sid Mier's Civilization III : Play the world. But the situation handling of this game is really interesting. Whoever says that this game is not good, is because he don't like to play hardships.
It is kinda like age of empires but even better if you try it youll know it. and i want to say thank you to download.com
It gives new improved features and protects against crashes, but don't use the map editor or cheats if you are a proud gamer as it becomes too easy.
and the great added hot seat and email game makes this a great patch/add-on
the hotseat game is really cool
I have the portuguese version of Civilization CTP but even in the activision site can´t be found an update for the version of my game.
I enjoy all of the Civilization/ Call To Power series games. They are constantly coming out with new and fresh ideas on how to improve the game.
If you have Civ:CTP you must get this update. It has PBEM, but also the first scenario Editor!
