...even when using the 'editor' route; might be that the file became corrupted by the time the download had finished, but basically it didn't work.

This game never ran right on XP and the software company couldn't care less in the tech support area,with no response what so ever to pleas for help.
I guess Maxis spoiled us with real city building games.
The city life disc is much more entertaining as a frisbee...

I like how you can get skyscrapers faster.its also 3-D everywhere.I would reccomend downloading this game:)

What i don't like is that it wont play in full screen! Its a cofiguration problem.the only way to play the game with the configuration problem is to double click on city life editor.Even if your game does play in full screen,you may not be able to save your game:(
