    "Works Well!"

    June 5, 2009  |   By GLHamilton

Network Magic, now owned by Cisco, works very well especially in allowing files to be shared within the network (Documents, Pictures, Videos, Desktop, etc.). This, to me, is the program's real strength. It also has an intruder detector,

The program is a little "annoying" about purchasing it during the trial period.

I think the program is worth the money. I didn't have it with a Netgear router (which died, was replaced with an RMA, and then again died) which I would NOT use again. Network Magic came as trial software for my new replacement LinkSys router (part of Cisco), which works much better--and is the "brand" supported by Verizon and many Cable Companies. I liked it, and purchased it. It's best feature is sharing files within a network (Documents, Pictures, Videos, Desktop, etc.), and the REASON to buy it. Also, it has good security features, allowing you to reset the type of security, password, etc. very easily. It also has a good INTRUDER detector.
