Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 1.6
Pros: This is excellent DVD burner & , above all , very , very easy to use . This is not "aristocratic" software , it has not all NERO features : not so nice interface , no image viewer , no media player& no start smart . Simple & lightweight (20 Mbytes)but efficient & precise . It's perfect for users that do not like to fill pc with heavy software .
Cons: Not as fast as NERO (Ultra Buffer) in writing .

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.03
"Certainly, one from the very best"
Pros: Cheetah DVD Burner was always one from the very best burners. Now, with the new version 2.03 it targets the top. Everything is renewed: Except the "classic" functions (i.e. all types of formats and creation and burning of ISO files as well) this excellent program now supports and Blu-Ray. this prooves that Cheetah follows the new developments.
An other very significant characteristic of the Cheetah DVD Burner 2.03 is the smaller size (about 40% smaller), which results not only to occupy smaller space on the hard disk, but also (and this is more important) to bind much less system resources. This of course contributes to an even faster burning, while it is well known that always Cheetah was a very fast burner.
We must also have in mind that Cheetah now is a (Joliet) multilingual burner and this is a very important characteristic, especialy for the non English speaking people.
Cons: In two words, Cheetah DVD Burner 2.03 is one from the very best burners, (definitely better than Nero) and it comes with an attractive price.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.04
"The top burner among the best"
Pros: Recently I wrote some complimentary reviews about an other burner. In fact I knew very well that, though this burner is a good piece of software, it would not be comparable with Cheetah burner. In my opinion Cheetah is the top from the best burners. I consider it better than Okoker burner and even better than Sateira (and of course better than Nero burner).
Cheetah DVD Burner (and CD burner of course, depending on what disk we insert for burning) is the faster, more accurate and multifunctional burner someone can buy, and can not be compared with the rest mentioned good burners. Simply it is the best.
This new version (v. 2.04) is even better than the previous version and there is not any function you can imagine that Cheetah do not offer.
The only detail I would expect to change for a future version would be the detailed enumeration in MB's of the material to be burned. However, this is not an important missing point. Someone also has to take under consiration the fact that, once you buy a Cheetah burner, you can update it any time a new version comes. This is what I do a few years now that I 'm using it. So, you only buy once this excellent top burner and you will have for use in the future any new version of Cheetah burner (!!!)
Cons: On top of everything we must take under consideration also the very low and realistic price, that makes Cheetah realy unbeatable.

Pros: This software works quite well. compared with nero. I have to say that nero is better and easier to use but i will use this beause it's cheaper

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 1.35
Pros: Cheetah has outclassed Nero in my opinion - though it lacks the visual interface of Nero, it runs faster and does the job in half the time. The main feature I love is the windows shell addon. Anything that can be burned is one click away - pop a cd or dvd in and select a file and 'burn with Cheetah' and it's done. If you toggle your settings to multi-session you can go through your music or data (mp3 files are classed as data here) and simply choose the ones you want, or videos for that matter.
Has the FASTEST cd/rw erase feature I have seen and makes ISO's (disk Images of your files) in a snap. Though I have gotten to the stage if a video looks good on the computer screen and in mpg/mpeg formatt, Cheetah can burn these directly and they play crystal clear on a dvd player - no more transcoding your files for that vcd look. Also supports drag and drop from the main interface.
Cons: Okay my only con is it takes a while for Cheetah to eject your cd or dvd - sometimes it seems to forget and you have to either manually do it or click eject on the main interface. However with an erase feature taking 10 seconds, your still better off than Nero (2 mins) Okay one more thing, Cheetah will automatically set your burn to max speed supported, which can crash if your multi-tasking, just drop it down one notch and you wont have any problems.
