As fast as its name implies, this DVD burner is an intuitive, reliable program with just enough features to make it appeal to beginners and experienced users alike. Cheetah DVD Burner can create both writable and re-writable CD and DVD discs. Additionally, it is able to create bootable discs, build and burn to disc ISO files, as well as create data, video, or audio discs.
The program interface is very straightforward, with clear menu options and icons big enough that even a great-grandmother could love. Simply choose your action and then drag and drop files into the program window, and you're ready to burn. We were most impressed with Cheetah's ability to create dual-level DVDs. The program also includes a decent CD ripper and converter. Overall, with its feature set and functional interface, Cheetah DVD Burner is a good option for anyone looking for a stress-free way to create CDs and DVDs.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.43
Pros: None! Installation completes but runtime error when I try to run the utility.
Cons: Does not work.
Summary: Tried installing twice in a Vista machine and failed both times. The good thing is that the installer does a clean job uninstalling.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.43
Pros: Easy to use reliable progam for my home movie PC.One nice thing about this program is that it burns you video DVD using UDF 1.0 when a lot of the Video burner use UDF 2.0which was driving me crazy because alot of older home DVD playerdon't use UDF2.0
Cons: Not yet still trying out someof the features
Summary: In short it the Cheetah DVD burner burns the most backward compatible DVD disc's. Which can be frustrating if you use a different program and yourdisc won't play.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.43

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.43
"Trial version doesn't do anything."
Pros: Nice colors?!?
Cons: All it does is let you set up for a DVD burn. If you try to actually do a burn it redirects you to the purchase page. I thought a 15 day trial would let you actually try the software.
Summary: It may be nice software but there's no way to tell from the "trial". There are comperable producrs that let you try before you buy. Steer clear.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 2.43
Pros: It simply just works, period. It doesn't have a lot of complicated features. It just does one simple thing: It burns data to DVDs and doesn't ask for a whole slew of options. Badda-Bing, Badda-Bam, and your DVD is ready.
Cons: I don't like the fact that I spent a good three weeks trying to figure out every esoteric and arcane feature of Nero 9 when I could have just just grabbed this here Cheetah download and go right to work, no hinkey dinkey, no fooling around.
Summary: I'm a sports photographer and I shoot at 5 frames a second, so I load up a lot of Compact Flash cards during a gig. When I get home I just want to transfer the whole "take" from the Compact Flash card right on to DVDs without editing or sorting. I n... read more >>
