As fast as its name implies, this DVD burner is an intuitive, reliable program with just enough features to make it appeal to beginners and experienced users alike. Cheetah DVD Burner can create both writable and re-writable CD and DVD discs. Additionally, it is able to create bootable discs, build and burn to disc ISO files, as well as create data, video, or audio discs.
The program interface is very straightforward, with clear menu options and icons big enough that even a great-grandmother could love. Simply choose your action and then drag and drop files into the program window, and you're ready to burn. We were most impressed with Cheetah's ability to create dual-level DVDs. The program also includes a decent CD ripper and converter. Overall, with its feature set and functional interface, Cheetah DVD Burner is a good option for anyone looking for a stress-free way to create CDs and DVDs.

Supports DAO and TAO burning modes for all disc types. The Cheetah DVD Burner is a lite, and fast disc burning program that is easy on the system resources.
Version 2.20 has some user interface improvements, and some bug fixes in the video conversion section. Version 2.21 has new code for burning very large files, and has improved burning speed.

Pros: Good dependable program, easy to install, and just as easy to use. It is refreshingly light on the resources, and you may not want to return to big bulky programs after installing the Cheetah.

Pros: I thought programs like Nero where the best for this sort of stuff but I couldn't of been more wrong. Cheetah takes no time to burn, and it's so simple to use.

Pros: Interface is simple and intuitive. It displays a progress counter on the Windows taskbar, so you can use other apps but keep track of your burn. Nice touch.
Cons: If you don't have admin rights, program errors out after you press the Burn button, and displays a cryptic error message. At first I assumed that was sloppy programming, but it looks like it's a Windows "feature". No big deal, but it would be nice if it displayed a helpful error message, or maybe a splash screen the first time you start the program.
When I started it using Runas it worked fine.
