"The top burner among the best"

    by Theo K on March 9, 2007

Pros: Recently I wrote some complimentary reviews about an other burner. In fact I knew very well that, though this burner is a good piece of software, it would not be comparable with Cheetah burner. In my opinion Cheetah is the top from the best burners. I consider it better than Okoker burner and even better than Sateira (and of course better than Nero burner).

Cheetah DVD Burner (and CD burner of course, depending on what disk we insert for burning) is the faster, more accurate and multifunctional burner someone can buy, and can not be compared with the rest mentioned good burners. Simply it is the best.

This new version (v. 2.04) is even better than the previous version and there is not any function you can imagine that Cheetah do not offer.

The only detail I would expect to change for a future version would be the detailed enumeration in MB's of the material to be burned. However, this is not an important missing point. Someone also has to take under consiration the fact that, once you buy a Cheetah burner, you can update it any time a new version comes. This is what I do a few years now that I 'm using it. So, you only buy once this excellent top burner and you will have for use in the future any new version of Cheetah burner (!!!)

Cons: On top of everything we must take under consideration also the very low and realistic price, that makes Cheetah realy unbeatable.

Thumbs up for Cheetah DVD Burner 2.04.

"The best CD/DVD-burner just got better"

by satyr on March 20, 2007

Pros: I don't want to repeat myself, so if you're maybe interested rather see my ratings for the previous Cheetah DVD Burner versions. But in one sentence: the Cheetah DVD Burner program (current version is 2.04) is updated frequently, it totally out-classes Nero burner (yeah, the bloated one), it is compact and light on unnecessary complex settings, further, it's stable/reliable, and written by a very friendly author. Also, in recent releases quite a few very important and cool features were added to the program; check them out for yourself on the "Features.html" page on program's website. Oh and yes: if you cannot afford to pay for the license fee, you just need put a link pointing to Cheetah Websites on your own home-page (of course, if you have one), and you will get a free CODE/KEY.

Cons: Hmmm, let me think a bit. Errr well, actually there are still no cons that I could think of at the moment of writing this "review" about the Cheetah DVD Burner program on a page dedicated to it here on the "download.com" website!!

"Comes Through Where Other Programs Fail!"

by mistertee on March 11, 2007

Pros: As someone who has worked with optical media (both professionally and for personal use) for many years, I never imagined myself singing the praises of "Cheetah DVD Burner". After all, there are hundreds of better known boxed and shareware apps that are capable of burning a "routine" CD or DVD.

That said, I recently encountered a situation where I needed to archive around 200GB of data to DVD media in order to clear up space on a hard drive. Knowing this would be a long, tedious project I opted to go with expensive (and sometimes finnicky) 8.5GB Dual Layer 8X +R media to save time. Unfortunately though, using apps like Roxio EMC, Nero, and Ulead I was experiencing a 30 - 40% burn failure resulting in wasted time and expensive "coasters". Halfway through the project I decided to browse CNET in hope of finding a more robust and reliable burning solution. After reading many user reviews I opted to download the Cheetah trial and give it a go. Wow, was I impressed! I was able to complete the remainder of my project without a single error or lost disc. As far as I'm concerned, this is truly among the best applications of it's kind. In addition to the very important reliability factor, the program offers an intuitive interface (definitely suitable for beginners) along with a full array of settings and options for those who need them.

I should also mention that unlike many shareware downloads, the Cheetah 15-Day Trail is unrestricted. It is fully functional with no nag screens or limitations of any kind. Quite honestly I don't think you can do better than Cheetah DVD Burner at ANY price. At $25, it's truly a bargain. 5 stars all the way!

"Simple and user friendly with all the right features"

by yaxpak on March 9, 2007

Pros: This program is continuously being updated to keep up with the latest formats. The START button, for example, puts many options at your fingertips such as WMA Disc, AVI/WMV DVD, and Audio Converter in addition to the usual Music/Data CD and Video DVD. The interface is simple and clean and lets you perform the operations you need quickly and effortlessly.
