From Cheetah Websites :Burn dual layer DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. Burn audio CDs from WAV, MP3, MP2, AVI, OGG, and WMA files. Burn ISO, Bin/Cue images and create ISO images. Erase CDs and DVDs. Copy audio and data CDs with one or multiple drives. The Cheetah DVD Burner also includes an audio CD ripper.
Version 1.72 includes some User Interface improvements, and more robust bin/cue CD burning.

Version: Cheetah DVD Burner 1.72
"Cheetah CD/DVD-burning program once again got better"
Pros: In this Cheetah DVD Burner update (i.e. an update to current version 1.72), one very important and cool feature was added to the program, oh, or should I rather say to its installer. You see, now there is not necessary anymore to reboot the computer after the installation (cool, huh ??); in fact, right after I wrote about this "problem" in an e-mail to the author, he has coincidently just implemented it. In particular, I was asking the following: "is there is any possiblity to code Cheetah DVD Burner in such a way that reboot will not be required after installation, or alternatively, that it would not be required to uninstall older version first, prior to installing the new one.", since I rather always reboot the computer also after the un-installation of the older version, so that means two reboots altogether to update the program the the latest version.
Cons: Ehmmm, actually there are still no cons that I could think of at the moment of writing this "review" about Cheetah DVD Burner on a page dedicated to it here at the "download.com" site !!

Pros: this is an extremly usefull program and i would recomend that anyone that wants a very simple straight forward dvd burning program,
Cons: i cannot find anything wrong with this program,its simple and it works

"Nice, simple burning app that works great"
Pros: This is the burning software I've been looking for! All of the big name apps seem to think I'm trying to take over Hollywood, cluttering the burning process with tons of audio/video editing features. I just want something that reliably burns on as many formats as possible. Cheetah DVD Burner is exactly that. It works great and does so with a minimum of clutter.

"Excellent DVD Burning Software!"
Pros: I wasn't too impressed with the Nero express that came with my drive. So I downloaded the Cheetah, and this is a really user friendly program. More program, and less junk!

I'm new to DVD burning since I needed to back up my hard drive to install XP, Cheetah DVD burner made it quick and easy for me to accomplish this!
I would highly recommend it to first time DVD burning users, for general or professional use.
