Despite a somewhat counterintuitive design, this program makes a capable CD burner. When we first launched Cheetah CD Burner, we were surprised to find the pane for exploring our PC on the right and the contents of the new CD on the left. We're used to seeing such programs arranged the other way around.
The application can burn data and audio CDs at speeds of up to 40x, and we appreciate having the option to add files to a project by simply right-clicking them. You also can make a boot disc or copy an entire CD. Clicking the Settings tab lets you finalize your disc and use buffer control. The CD ripper encodes files in both MP3 and WAV formats and can access an online database for track and album information. The program also has tools for extracting audio from AVI video clips and converting audio files among such popular formats as MP3, WMA, and OGG.
The Cheetah Web site currently has a deal offering the app for free, if you post a link back to their Web site. All things considered, we think Cheetah CD Burner makes a fine choice.

Enhanced features include shortcuts to your favorite folders, as well as different file-view settings such as thumbnails for viewing photos. You can burn CD-R and CD-RW discs, burn audio CDs (WAV, MP3, MP2, AVI, OGG, and WMA), burn data CDs and ISO images, create ISO images, erase CD-RW discs, rip audio from music CDs, retrieve album information from audio CDs, copy data CDs, copy audio CDs, and automatically verify data.
Version 3.17 adds the ability to burn AVI files as audio CDs, and convert AVI files to MP3, WMA, OGG, MP3, or MP2 files. It also includes some bug fixes and improvements.

"Simple, easy-to-use, and bloat-free program ..."
Pros: Cheetah CD Burner simply doesn't have all those useless bloat-features as other burners do, it's written by friendly author, and if you cannot afford to pay for the license, or you just don't want to, then create a web page and put the link to Cheetah Websites Corporation on it, and you will get a CODE/KEY, which you will then enter to that text-field, on the first program execution.
First it was an approx. 5 MB download, but from version 2.94 on, the download had become an approx. 11 MB package, because of some newly added additional extension and advanced media support. Though this was still a small size compare to Nero, I rather used old versions because I have backups of Cheetah CD Burner on CDs back to version 2.82, but as you can see the package size was again reduced to 7.5 MB ...
And above all, it simply works compare to other CD-burning programs, I've tried (ehm, namely Nero), prior to finding Cheetah CD Burner, and finally - it is also updated very often.
Cons: Actually I cannot think of any cons at all, and I mean it ...

Pros: It get's the job done! and it was very easy to use. Also it was nice to have the option of only paying for the CD Burner, because I don't have a DVD Burner, and currently don't need one. I noticed that they did have the DVD Burner upgrade, but it is a nice option to just pay for what I need. I highly recommend the Cheetah CD Burner.

Pros: I would say, this is one of the best cd burner program. Not only it has all the functions you might want a burner software to have but is its prices very affordable. If you want some thing excellent with great price. Here you've got it.
Cons: Not any thing as far as I can think of. Anyway, watch out the speed of writing. Sometimes, you have to adjust it.
