    "Installed it than Uninstalled it."

    October 13, 2008  |   By Sealum

    Version: Checkbook Ease Freeware 2.1

    Pros

It is upfront about what is freeware and what is not.

    Cons

Lack of technical support for the freeware version.

    Summary

I had problems right away and figured I would give it a chance. The only thing I kept getting from the support was you need to purchase this program. I suggest you skip this program and keep looking.

"Installed it, used it for 10 mins, then uninstalled it."

    October 1, 2008  |   By nyrprucha25

    Version: Checkbook Ease Freeware 2.1

    Pros

    Easy to use.

    Cons

Could only create one account. Using two accounts only permitted 50 transactions each. In order to get more, you needed to purchase it.

    Summary

If you only plan on keeping track of one account, I think it would be a easy program to use. If you are looking to keep track of multiple accounts using a free program, this is not the one you want.

"Not Freeware, only one checking account"

    September 29, 2008  |   By Bob100500

    Version: Checkbook Ease Freeware 2.1

    Pros

I uninstalled it right after installing it.

    Cons

It's not freeware, I hate it when companies say it's freeware but you have to pay to unlock all the real features.

    Summary

If you want freeware, continue looking, or purchase a non-freeware program.

I have no trouble with Checkbookease freeware because I quickly e-mailed the good tech support they have with a few questions and they instructed me promptly on how to correct he problem. They will even call you if you like to solve it. Sometimes the new operating systems need one click change to make everything work fine. So use tech support freely
and the program will work fine..............
