"This in an ADD-On that REQUIRES a $30 program to work!"
Cons: "Change Attributes" v1.2 is an Add-on that Requires a $30 program named "Useful File Utilities" for it to work! Stay away from ReplSoft - they use FALSE ADVERTISING!

Cons: This is a plug in for another program - nothing wrong with that, BUT why don't they mention that in the description..? The lack of honesty says "stay away" to me.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: It's listed as free, but the first thing it does is demand that you install another piece of code that costs $30. Classic bait and switch. Run away.

"What a waste of time and disk space!"
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING.
Cons: It's downright insulting to filter by free licenses, then be mislead into thinking this program is freeware. As the other review points out, which the CNet review only alludes to, it requires the "main" $30 program to work.
"No limitations" -- yeah, right. It's not worth paying $30 to batch-rename a few files. What a waste of time and disk space. I want my electrons back.
