Our tests proved there's plenty to like about this highly polished, high-octane snowboarding game. Championship Snowboarding 2004 offers excellent 3D graphics and a large amount of different challenges. If you're feeling competitive, you can compete in a downhill race, and if you're looking to get fancy, you can turn tricks for the best photo op. You'll even find a game that gives you points for how many bones you break during vicious wipeouts. Although the demo only lets you play on one course, you'll find a level editor for designing your own snowpark, where you can add jumps, moguls, and other obstacles. The energizing guitar-rock soundtrack suits the extreme mood perfectly, although you can turn it off if you want to board in silence. Championship Snowboarding 2004 also lets you choose from more than 20 characters and many styles of board. Besides the one-hour trial period, the only thing we can really find fault with is the app's resource-intensive nature. However, you must expect a game this good-looking to consume a good deal of your system's memory, so this shouldn't be a big deal to most users. Snowboarding fans with powerful computers won't be disappointed with this title.Publisher's description

Summary: This appears to have been made about 6 years ago, and simply given the name "2004" to make it seem current. Graphics average, challenges boring-free is all it will ever be worth. Perhaps aiming this at pre 5 year olds should occur to the marketing t... read more >>
