"Don't download from CNET!!!"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
Pros
Cavaj is a fine tool and I'll use it without hesitation.
Cons
CNET downloader installed browser add-ons and altered my browser home page. This is the last damn time I fall for this crap. Goodbye CNET downloads
Summary
Don't download from CNET!!!

"Not what it claims"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
Pros
Haven't used it enough to find out
Cons
Downloaded it because it claims to support jar files, but after attempting to open a jar file it says that only .class files supported.
Summary
Waste of time

"Spyware???"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
Pros
Are you sure the virus you got was from this install ? CNET claims its "Tested spyware free"?
Cons
Didn't install due to possible spyware
Summary
CNET claims they test all their software for virus and spyware? CNET reported that the sofware is "Tested spyware free"?

"Adequate, it does the job"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
Pros
It does the job of converting .class to code.
Cons
It would be nice if it would unzip the .jar first so you wouldn't have to run an unzipper first.
Summary
For free, it's great. If I had to pay, I would expect more.
Also my Zone Alarm scanner didn't find any spyware on this, so I don't know what those other reviewers were talking about. Plus download.com (CNET) is supposed to be pretty reputable. Maybe they are just scammers/vandals -

"A waste of time"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
Pros
None at all.
Cons
Doesn't work.
Summary
The application works off of a classpath. If you want to decompile a class file every single reference to any other class file must be on the classpath, if it's not then it won't decompile. We have some code that was written a long time ago and no one seems to have the source code. We have no idea what was used in the code so thing thing won't help us out at all.

Cons

Just waist of time.

"SPYWARE WARNING!!!"
Version: Cavaj Java Decompiler 1.11
