This release for all Radeon family products updates the ATI Display Driver to version 8.14. The unified driver has been further enhanced to provide the highest level of power, performance, and reliability. The driver supports 24 languages. The release introduces full hardware acceleration of Microsoft Windows Media Video (WMV) files when using DirectX 9 shaders. Hardware acceleration significantly reduces dropped frames and can reduce CPU usage up to 50%.

New video features for the Catalyst Control Center include: New video preview. This provides real-time video preview and shows users the benefits of adjusting video settings without committing the changes. Simpler video playback. This feature easily enables full-screen video playback on your secondary display device. This package also includes ATI Multimedia Center 9.08, HydraVision 3.25.0006, HydraVision 3.25.9006 Basic Edition, WDM Driver Install Bundle, Remote Wonder 3.0.2, and the Southbridge/IXP driver.
