This well-designed program lets you gamble on various casino games in an island paradise. From the main menu, you'll see various grass huts that house the different games, while calypso music plays in the background. Before you start gaming, you get to choose from a library of cartoon players to represent you, including a cowboy, a high roller, and a king. Casino Island To Go lets you test your skills at Blackjack, slots, Texas Hold Em, five-card draw, and a game called Ride The Tide. While we did enjoy playing all of the bundled games, the omission of casino staples such as craps and roulette seems like a curious oversight. The game won't let you immediately reconfigure your maximum bet, but as you earn more cash, you'll be able to wager higher. The ability to earn comps adds a nice touch of realism, and if you find the other players too chatty, you'll apprecaite the feature for shutting them up. Although the one-hour trial period is a bit too short for our tastes, we think folks looking for a lighthearted casion sim are likely to find this game a winner.
