The latest offering from pcAmerica is fully re-worked for business needs of 2010. Cash Register Express version is a SQL based point of sale program that runs on, Vista, Windows 7 Windows 8, and WIndows 10. It will ring up your sales, track inventory, run reports and tell you exactly how much profit you are making. Powerful customer tracking tools will let you know who your most valuable customers are and let you reward them with loyalty plans and membership just like the big box stores. Of note, is the direct interface to quickbooks pro accounting as well as the ability to scan drivers license ID's for age restricted items (alcohol, tobacco). If you have multiple stores, no problem, CRE's web portal will allow you to access all your store's inventory and modify customer and employee data from a centralized location.

We operate several very busy food stores as well as many other business we had Cash Register Express installed in one of our busiest location ( BIG MISTAKE ) hoping it we improve customer transaction times, better control inventory, and overall cut theft / losses. This company has alot of great ideas and tout's alot of great features but let me tell you 90% do not function as they are suppose to this software actually creates more opportunity for theft as well as slows don transaction time and that is if the system doesn't crash every hour & the tech support is terrible and top that off the charge $1500 a year for support or they will hang up on you then when you pay support there staff corrupted our database and almost lost our complete inventory database bringing an entire location almost to a close which would have results in 10's of thousands of loss revenue overall stay far away we tested so many systems and chose this as we believed there fraudulent statements on there sites about features that do not work.
It is customizable. It's easy to use for sales when they just push a few buttons.
Offshore Support that doesn't care about your business. Sales Executives won't respond to multiple phone/email requests. Expensive support contract which is required for any help with their buggy software Installation, Upgrade, and Activation process isn't easy.
The software is very customizable and works when it works, but the lack of customer service and support response is not worth the hassle. You will be pulling your hair out if you have any sort of problem (and you will) with this software. CRE IS NOT FOR ME!
Everything else! Worst customer service experiences (multiple) that I have ever had. Upgraded in October and have not heard back from them over unresolved issues. Tried contacting Sales, Tech Support, Managers and VPs. Not ONE response! My mission now is to help others to not get shafted like I was!
