Version: Carbon Folder 1.1
Pros: Easy to use, dependable.
Cons: The free edition doesn't include a schedule option.
Summary: Small, simple, basic file-sync program. You have to launch it manually, there's no scheduling option. However, considering the price of zero $, I can live with that. Also, there are no ads etc.
For the ordinary pc-user, it's recommendable. read more -

Version: Carbon Folder 1.1
"Synchronization, simple method, flawless backups."
Pros: Carbon Folder allows you to backup data by folder via synchronization. You may add new files to your backup and not affect old, unchanged files. Or you may backup a whole folder and delete the old files. Supports subfolders.
Cons: Synchronization depends on shared folders on the network. If you are using a mapped path, then lose the path, the Carbon Folder will not recognize this and run without warning. BEWARE of Assumed Backups!
Summary: Many sysops rely on scheduled backups and are disappointed when they find that the backups are bad. Carbon Folder's simple method provides excellent, successful backups via synchronization. read more
