Candy Pop Saga is a puzzle game that challenges you to work through increasingly difficult levels with varied goals to unlock more adventures. You can compete against yourself, or connect with Facebook to see how your skills stack up against those of your friends.

Like many similar games, Candy Pop Saga features a grid-like display filled with different colored candies. However, the mechanics of this game are a bit different from what you might be used to, as you only need to tap groups of candies twice to remove them from the board; and they are not replaced as you go on. The candies also only have to be touching each other in some way, and you can remove as few as two matching items at a time. If you do manage to get rid of a large group of candies at once, you'll be rewarded with a special candy that will appear at the bottom of your screen and that you can use at any point if you get stuck. Each level in this game has a particular objective that you need to achieve to unlock the next one and that is displayed right before you begin to play. You'll be notified that you've reached the objective while you're playing, but your turn isn't over until you've removed all possible matches from the board. It's beneficial to remove as many as possible because you get bonus points at the end of each level based on the number of candies you had left when you ran out of matches.

Candy Pop Saga is free to play, although there are several available in-app purchases. These include various sizes of coin packs that range in price from $0.99 to $2.99. You can earn coins through playing the game, as well, and you can use them to purchase special candies to help you complete certain levels more easily. Overall, this game runs smoothly and has a fun, intuitive interface.
