"Game Installer Unable to Establish Connection"

Pros
I used to play the full game, but can no longer play due to have lost the CD. Good game when it works.
Cons
With this installation the "CNET Installer" is unable to establish a connection with the download server for the demo. They need to either fix their server or disable the "CNET Installer" to allow downloading.
Summary
The demo version download on this website does not work and needs to be addressed.

Long download. Only one level!!
Summary
A masterful, excellent and intense WWII game. The demo leaves your heart pounding and you wanting more after its over. Lots of authentic weapons to use (for such a short level) and the AI/gameplay is no push-over. You have to use your mind to get past challenges. There are no health pick-ups, so you have to be careful, especially on the higher difficulties.
The one level packs a lot of variety and has a fairly good replay value, but it leaves you wanting more....much more, which can kind of be a bummer since this game is kind of hard to find now.
Overall, it's worth the download because nothing else out there really compares to it. -

I can't figure out how to fire the stinking anti-tank gun. I aim it to no avail & have found zero instructions anywhere. Therefore, I uninstalled the demo.
Summary
I don't like having to look all over for a few simple instructions. If the game doesn't tell me what I'm supposed to do with little effort on my part I s-can it. Which is what I did.

"What an excellent gaming prodigy!"

This game is awesome. I love the releastic battles and the old school taste that is really making this game a prodigy that is pallarel to Beethoven in music. A high quality WWII first person shooter at it's finest.
Cons
Every rose has it's thorn. But luckily for the Call of Duty 2 demo, this rose has been well pruned. The legnthy download and installation and the bad graphics and the one mission you get with the demo. But no game is perfect.
Summary
First of all, this is one of the best WWII first person shooters around. The latest in the series in has sort of gone stale. So, I have found myself jumping back to Call of Duty 1 and 2 to find that freshness that made Call of Duty so succesfull.
The game has been highly polished and (Even though it hurts a little to say this) the good graphics in some places and chracters have been done with an extreme amount of love. I'd highly reccomend downloading it but I am kinda throwing the high reccomadation away for two things, the demo is a little too short (Some game demo's go on and on with no end in sight) and the lengthy dowload and installation I'm sure you can start tapping the keyboard as soon as you get the demo and I will reccomend it but it is not the highest recommendation on my game demo list. -

The demo is just to short,after you play the demo you want more but its only one mission.
