  "I love this program"

  Version: Calibre 0.9.31

  Pros

  Very intuitive and easy to use.
  Converts between various formats.
  Simple interface for editing meta data in files.
  Built in readers for different eBook formats.
  Great for organizing your library and tracking what is on your computer vs. on your Kindle (I haven't tried it with other readers).

  Cons

  I'm sure it has some "cons," but it does everything I need it to do.

  "Unauthorized Software Installs"

  Version: Calibre 0.9.31

  Pros

  I love the "older" version that I have on my laptop, which is definitely a great program.

  Cons

  If you are not careful during installation, "this version" will change your default search engine to bing.com, change your home page to bing.com, install a SweetPacks toolbar and SweetPacks program, which are adware, install the PC Optimizer Pro program, which is classified as malware. I don't know how CNET can give this version 4 1/2 stars, considering what this "package" contains.

  Summary

  Stick with your old version, or wait for a new version with a clean install i.e. malware and adware free.

  "Easy to use my @$@$@ CNET Idiot Reviewers"

  Open opening for the first time, I see there is one book already in library. I click on it. There's text there that says "click to open". I cannot resist. What does that do. Nothing really. Just gives me a bigger picture of the cover. Again...I see the "click to open". I cannot resist. That must do something. NO. IT DOES NOTHING BUT OPEN EXPLORER WINDOW TO SELECT A FILE. WHAT? I AM DONE HERE. IT HAS TAKEN TOO LONG TO DO A SIMPLE F@$@$ TASK AS TO OPEN THE BOOK.
  FYI. ANY E-READER THAT DOES NOT OFFER SOME ABILITY TO TAKE NOTES IS DF@$@ WORTHLESS....PERIOD.
