"spectaularly slow and bulky"
Version: CSVed 2.2
Pros
there seem to be some features, but I don't think they're useful
Cons
very unintuitive
slow, seems to sort by some columns by default
memhog, a 300 MB file on disk uses up 3.1 GB of RAM
a 600 MB file on disk doesn't work at all
date conversion feature is too limitedSummary
Can't recommend. The problem is that there are seemingly loads of features in this software but they either don't work (e.g. the convert-a-date-column) or they're useless. Also, there seems to be a massive overhead when loading larger files, even though my system has 32 GB of RAM you can't even load a 600 MB file.

"Got lost with the overwhelming UI"
Version: CSVed 2.1.4
Pros
Does so many complex thing, it hard to find the trees because of the forest.
Cons
Glutted with too many features, made it hard to know how it works and how it loads the data and where to find the basic functions. UI TOOO overwhelming to get use too, too many useless settings.
Summary
I did what to go through the stress of learning a new software product. Sorry but is got uninstalled in the first couple of minits.

"Does everything is says-wish all software was like this"
Version: CSVed 2.1.4
Pros
Does everything you could want when it comes to manipulating and editing CSV files. If you have a large database in CSV, Excel can't handle it. This program handled a database I have of 5 million plus records with no problem!
Cons
Can't think of any.
Summary
If you manipulate large data files in CSV format - you need this.

"Used this when file too long for excel"
Version: CSVed 2.0.1
Pros
I had log files that had more rows and/or columns than Microsoft Office could open. CSVed saved me! I used it extensively on files with more than 10,000 rows and dozens of columns. No problems.
Cons
Interface looks a bit dated, and there is a lot to learn. The icons are small and not intuitive unless you already know what they do.
Summary
Recommended for handling large files.

"Easy to Use, Does what I need"
Version: CSVed 2.0.1
Pros
Very easy to open a csv file and view it.
Column Jump nice featureCons
Default Color, but easy to change
Summary
I typically was viewing csv files in notepad++, but this makes everything so much easier. I haven't experience any issues with the code and am extremely happy with it. I've actually shared the tool with the rest of my team and everyone is happy with the tool.
The default color is a little too much for me, but it appears that all options are available to customize.
Bottom-line, if you view csv files through notepad or any other text editor you will be happy with this program.
