    "CPU-Z is the Standard"

    Pros

    by which all hardware identification utilities should be measured. Its GUI is clear and easy to understand and its detailed reports, which can be saved as a text, HTML, of PDF file is beyond comprehensive. It runs itself upon opening so their little required of the user.

    Information about characteristics of the CPU, memory, motherboard, and graphics is thorough.

    Cons

    The only thing missing in this utility is provided by companion software available at the same organization's site, which give even more detailed information about your machine along with benchmarking routines for each component.
