    "Good program, defective download"

    April 7, 2011  |   By ebob2k

This is a must-have for anyone working on a 64-bit system.

You'll need to go to the CPU-Z site to download a copy that isn't corrupt.

It was surprising that CNET allowed a defective file to be posted for so many weeks, and that is probably because there are no links to contact them for those problems.
It also seemed obvious that they don't check the reviews, because someone pointed out that defective file in a review 5 weeks before I found it was defective.
Over a week after my download (at CPU-Z's site), and 6 weeks after someone pointed out in a review that the download was corrupt, the download is still defective.
