Updates are guaranteed safe and spyware free as TechTracker utilizes CNET Downloads, a thoroughly comprehensive database of software products and updates.
What's new in this version:
An Uninstall shortcut has been added to the CNET TechTracker program group in the Windows Start menu.
A change to the TechTracker app installer for offering additional third-party services to new users was added. Only new users will see this change during installation.

"USE AT OWN RISK AND YOUR SYSTEMS RISK"
Pros: LOOKS GOOD SOUNDS GOOD
Cons: BEWARE NOT GOOD

Version: CNET TechTracker app 1.0
"CNET, you are this [ ] close!"
Pros: Quick access to updates once the scanner identifies one.
Cons: The scanner routinely tells me some of my software is out of date even though I have the latest version. Also, sometimes the updates listed are not what you get when you download them.
Summary: I like the idea of the scanner but it still needs to work on its accuracy for me to endorse it.

Pros: Well...after reading these reviews I can see CNET doesn't pull bad reviews.
Cons: I downloaded this but haven't installed. After reading these reviews, its getting deleted instead of installed. I AM DISAPPOINTED IN CNET, I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAD THE UTMOST TRUST IN THEM. Guess I better review that trust!!

"CNET installs other programs on your computer TOO"
Pros: None at all
Cons: CNET decided it had the right to install OTHER software on my computer when I DLed their Tech Tracker.
Mysteriously Open Candy & Xobni
