"Not as useful as it promises to be"

Pros
I like to play arround with my computer's configs. So I installed this Firefox extension as soon as I knew about it.
For the PRO side: It does what it shall do - shows updates immediately, but ... see CON
Cons
As CONs are to see two things which are quite frustrating. Fist is that you have to log in manually on the download.com-web site prior to get any information at the extension.
The second thing is that if you got a message about an update, you have to perform a lot of clicks to get rid of the message.
Therefore on my oppinion the messaging via email is more useful and handy than the Firefox extension.

Pros
I like the placement of the icon, though it is a little small that doesn't matter because when there's an update you eventually notice the text. Best thing is, unlike a lot of Firefox extensions it seems to have NO BUGS.
Cons
I'd prefer a larger logo for the extension, perhaps the actual c|net logo?
