CHEMiCALC specifications

What's new in version 1.31

We have added to these updates the option to check out from the element properties database (Element Mode) more than twenty properties of any element selected from the periodic table. You can now graph the periodic trend in the family or period of an element property. The Formula Mode keypad now includes a division operator (/) that allows you to compute the ratio (quotient) of two corresponding formula weights. For example, you could calculate the weight percent of the water present in nickel nitrate hexahydrate. Try out our demo for 14 days. (Note:There should be two files in the distribution, one ending in ".prc" and the other in ".pdb". An error message would occur if the ".pdb" file is missing. You could verify that by checking the "Info" for CHEMiCALC: if the pdb file is present you should see a size of about 87K, or 68K if absent. It should suffice simply to install the second file. If that doesn't do it, delete CHEMiCALC first and reinstall both files.) (Having spent over 10 years in development, I would appreciate your adding a review of this invention so that I can continue to improve it to meet the needs of chemists. Thanks, Bert Ramsay.)
