"New version works, but..."
Version: CE QuicKeys X 2.0.2b3

The new version they released. 2.0.2b3, works fine in 10.3. Thanks for the fast work, guys. Meanwhile, can anyone verify if verion 1.0 or 1.5 work at all in 10.3? I've got some machines I still use the old version of QKX on, since they're not main machines -- I don't want to upgrade them to the latest version of Quickeys X if I can help it (I find the serial number checker to be draconian). -
"Problems after Sleep"
Version: CE QuicKeys X 2.0.1
Summary

After installing QuicKeys 2.01 for Mac OS X, I had serious problems after waking iMac from sleep. Dock would not work properly, failing to launch whatever I click on. iChat menu and other menus failed to work at all. Clicking on QK dock icon also failed to launch QK editor. All of this happens after waking iMac from sleep.
I disabled and completely removed QuicKeysX2 and the problems are completely gone. My obvious conclusion is that QuicKeys is the culprit. I suspect the problem has something to do with QK not being completely compatabile with OS 10.2.8. -
"Truly the best..."

Extremely feature rich, the programmers have done an excellent job with our old friend. I regularly use it to add useful features to OS X. It would be nice if the way failed shortcuts, which happen sometimes for me (when I try to execute a shortcut that calls an Applescript which generates an error for some reason). I would like it if we could set the timeout to a short period of time and have it do nothing if the shortcut fails. For all I know, you can and I just haven't figured it out! -
"Commercial program now worthy."

CE QK has been widely dissed when compared to iKey-YoupiKey; but it has come a long way, and now provides a level of functionality well beyond iKey. The program is everybit, for me, what it was in 9. Just tie up the rough edges noted by the other reviewers, and it will easily deserve 5 stars. -
"Good."

Much better than the initial OS X release. But, please, get the menubar icon sorted out! The dock is where the big technicolour icons go, the menubar is where the small monochrome icons go. Do you see? -
"Still the best"

I've tried the others, and despite the fact that it's not the same QK that we learned to love on OS 9, it's still the best. When you need to define a complicated sequence in a hurry, QK gets the job done. And the new additions in QK2 will be welcome. -
"It's getting better"

I'm really impressed with version 2. They have done things in OSX that I didn't think they could do.
Nice to see CE really expand Quickeys X. Hopefully it will soon rival the OS 9 version in terms of useful functions. -

...this latest beta. Much improved over 1.5. You can tell they stayed up all night working on it. The new interface is excellent. With the new "simulate keyboard" shortcut, it's like they read my mind...
