"The Best MP3 Ripper I've Found"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
This ripper is definitely one of the best out there. I had a slight problem with it and Nero ImageDrive. It would only see the fake drive, and not my real one. It was fixed when I uninstalled ImageDrive (which I don't use anyway) though. The selection you get with this program is unmatched as well. If you can think of an audio format/bitrate, this thing will rip it. It also connects to the CDDB and downloads the information to put tags on your MP3's (but you can turn this off, too). All-in-all, by far the best.

"Better than you think!"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
I don't know about all these complaints about cd'n'go but I've been using this program for almost two years and I can tell you its the best cd ripper I've used till date. I tried CDex,freeRipMp3 and a host of others but none of then gave me the kind of functionality I got with cd'n'go. I like the abilty to choose from a wide range of encoders-including the popular LAME. You can also adjust the bitrate to your desire. It is also a tag editor. Just set it up and it rips your cd in minutes and the quality is superb! Those having difficulties using this freeware are either newbies or perhaps their PCs need some looking into!

"Full of Errors"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
I thought it was a good program. But after I downloaded it and used it. It didn't work. You tell it to rip a track and it freezes the computer. Doesn't work. Don't Download

"GREAT program for the price: FREE!"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
You can't beat free, and this program delivers the goods. Can be a bit of a hassle to set up for novices, but it has many great features. My favorite is the option of several encoding codecs, including the great LAME encoder.
The program also offers ID3 tagging and CDDB options, which are a huge plus.
Speed is good, but not great.
My only complaint is that it doesn't offer Gracenote CDDB, so you have to manually imput track data for more obscure discs. -
"Very nice, however need and update"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
One of the first CD rippers I used, and one I keep coming back to. Only problem I have in XP Pro is the player doesn't work.
Somewhat complicated to set up, and tons of options. Can be confusing. -
"Better than others, not as good as some."

If AudioCatalyst worked with Windows XP, I'd use that. This one works alright. It gets the job done.

"Very useful freeware!"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
Converted my whole CD archive with this program. Good workflow if you want to grab and convert lots of CDs using the queue. Integrated tag editor is useful, too. Just some problems with the CD'n'burn MP3-to-CD-burner: it sends my computer into a coma. Must be an incompatible burner (traxdata).

"Well done bit o' freeware"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
As Immacolata stated, the interface does need some cleaning up, but this is a very extensible program that upgrades on the fly. To sample a few rips, I used Nine Inch Nails' "Pretty Hate Machine" with ALL default settings, and had a total rip time of 8 minutes, 13 seconds. Not spectacular, but nothing to spit on. In any case, this program's best asset is the MULTITUDE of encoders it supports in a clean environment. Once CD'N'GO works out a few ease-of-use issues with their interface (buttons aren't terribly intuitive, among other things) this will be a real contender.

"Great but a bit cluttered"
Version: CD'n'Go Suite 2.0
Summary
Interface needs tightening up, but it extracts and compresses sound tracks really fast. Using the new really good Ogg format.
