It closes drive's tray when you forget to do it and allows you to lock it if you want to protect the door from your small children. Also it allows you to open and close CD-ROM's door using mouse only and reminds you about the forgotten disk inside the device. Version 2.6 has added support for locking and unlocking drive automatically when you open or close its door with CD-Door Guard.
